Equipment Support to Facilitate Job Creation
In September and October 2020, UNIDO provided equipment to SINCE government partners and SINCE beneficiaries cooperatives to support job creation in Addis Ababa, Amhara and Oromia SINCE projects areas. The provided equipment has a total direct impact on 71 job supported or stabilized, and 3,725 TVET colleges trainees direct benefiting in the period. In particular, 2 generators have been provided to Lideta Manufacturing College in Addis Ababa and Kombolcha Polytechnic College to enhance the manufacturing capacity of the two colleges. In addition, 1 bread making machine, 1 cooling truck, 6 multi -function seed planters and 4 generators are provided to various cooperatives, cooperative unions and SINCE beneficiaries groups, trough Arsi Zone Cooperative office, Sinana Woreda Agriculture office, Sinana and Adaba Woredas Enterprises Development and Industry office, Sinana and Adaba Woreda Labour and Social Affairs office, Haro Kebelle Administration, Sanbitu and Hisu Kebelle Administrations in Oromia Region.

SINCE Photo Exhibition: “Skills for Employment and Change”
From 10 to 18 December 2019 a SINCE photo exhibition entitled “Skills for Employment and Change it was set up at the Ethiopian National Theatre in Addis Ababa in occasion of the international migration week. The exhibition, organized in collaboration with UNIDO, displays photographs which showcase different activities of SINCE Programme implemented in Addis Ababa City administration, Amhara, Oromia, SNNP and Tigray Regional States. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Ambassadors, European Union Delegation representatives, Government officials, celebrities, implementing partners, students and other invited guests.

Gender Mainstreaming Guideline Familiarization and Dissemination Workshop
On 1 August 2019, at Azzeman Hotel in Addis Ababa, a gender mainstreaming guideline workshop has been conducted to address the importance of gender agenda and analyse instruments for gender mainstreaming. The Gender Mainstreaming Guideline (GMG) has been presented by SINCE UNIDO staff in the framework of the technical assistance provided to the SINCE Programme. The results of the gender evaluation component in each SINCE implementation area were discussed and recommendations were suggested on ways to improve gender inclusion on the final period of implementation of SINCE Programme activities.
