On the occasion of the National Unity and Armed Forces Day celebrations, a ceremony commemorating the Italian Fallen was held at the Italian cemetery in Gulele in Addis Ababa on November 4, 2023.
The event, held in the presence of the Ambassador of Italy H.E. Agostino Palese received by the Defense Attaché, Col. Marco Poddi, was organized by the Military Office in Addis Ababa and was attended by Military Attachés accredited in Ethiopia and Italian compatriots residing in the country.
On the evening of November 8, 2023, inside the Embassy park, the celebrations continued in the presence of numerous guests including representatives of Ethiopian institutions, Ambassadors and representatives of international bodies, entrepreneurs, cultural figures, and representatives of the Italian community.
