The #WeAreItaly #StayTunedOnIt campaign promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has started. The campaign aims to promote the most creative and vital Italy in the world in the days of the Coronavirus.

Andrea Bocelli, Uto Ughi, Tiziano Ferro, Nicola Piovani, Paolo Fresu, Ada Montellanico, Nek, Andrea Griminelli, Rita Marcotulli, Fabrizio Bosso and many other Italian artists joined the initiative and created video messages to spread abroad the invitation to stay connected with the world of Italian culture. In addition, many initiatives will be released in these days of emergency by the Italian cultural institutions in order to offer the Italian and international public exclusive moments of virtual cultural entertainment.

In order to show the picture of a country capable of continuing to produce and spread culture and entertainment of great quality, the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation will collect new videos and new exclusive content every day that it will promote through its dedicated page, social channels (including YouTube channel) and the foreign network of Italian Embassies, Consulates and Institutes of Culture.

In the foreground all the “web culture” offered by museums and archaeological parks, libraries and archives, festivals and theatres, the world of cinema and live entertainment, TV, radio and publishing (such as Istituto Luce, Cineteche di Milano e Bologna, Salone del Libro, Pinacoteca di Brera, MAXXI and many others) which are proving an extraordinary ability to “occupy” social platforms in a creative and quality way.
