Dearest compatriots, dear Ethiopian friends, and kind visitors to this website,
Today I enthusiastically assume the role of Italian Ambassador to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, a friendly country with which we are bound by a deep and sincere friendship, now at the center of the Mattei Plan.
Over the years, Italy and Ethiopia have jointly developed projects, activities, and partnerships in the most important sectors: science and culture, health and education, environment and climate, agriculture and infrastructure, to name just a few of the most significant. This is a major undertaking in which the business communities of our two countries are also actively participating. The launch of the Mattei Plan for Africa—based on mutual understanding and a partnership approach, and which sees Ethiopia among our most dynamic and important partners—is also opening up new opportunities for growth and development. This is a further drive for strengthening our relations.
Under my mandate, the Embassy will be committed, together with the entire Italian national system, to strengthening our presence in Ethiopia and to being a point of reference for our community, businesses, institutions, as well for the Ethiopian partners interested in promoting the prosperity and security of our two Countries.
