The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) is offering scholarships to foreign students and Italians living abroad (IRE) for the Academic Year 2025-2026, with the aim of fostering cooperation in the cultural, scientific and technological fields, the projection of Italy’s economic system around the world and the dissemination of knowledge of the Italian language and culture (Ref. Law 288/55 and subsequent amendments and supplements).
The scholarship only covers course attendance on Italian territory.

Online applications must be received by 14:00 (Italian time) on 16 May 2025. Interested students are advised to follow the instructions and, if necessary, the FAQs available on the platform in both Italian and English versions.
Please Note: In the event of a particularly high number of applications, the Commission will proceed with a pre-selection, thus inviting only short-listed candidates to interview. Failure to be invited to interview, in the days immediately following the application deadline, shall be considered as failure to pass the pre-selection.
