Starting from 24 May 2021, all passengers wishing to enter Italy arriving from foreign countries or territories included in Lists B, C, D and E of Annex 20 of the Prime Ministerial Decree of 2 March 2021 (which include Ethiopia, South Sudan and Djibouti)<\/strong>, regardless of the duration of their stay, are required to submit a digital Passenger Locator Form (dPLF)<\/strong> before entering the Italian borders, following the instructions provided below:<\/p>\n

  1. Go to https:\/\/app.euplf.eu\/#\/<\/a><\/li>\n
  2. Follow the guided procedure to access the dPLF<\/li>\n
  3. Choose “Italy” as your destination country<\/li>\n
  4. Register on the website by creating a personal account with user and password (it is necessary to do this only the first time)<\/li>\n
  5. Fill in and send the dPLF following the guided procedure.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Once the form has been submitted, the passenger will receive the dPLF to the e-mail address indicated during registration in pdf and QRcode format. The passenger must show the dPLF directly from his\/her smartphone (in digital format) at boarding and to whoever is in charge of carrying out the controls. Alternatively, the passenger may print a copy of the dPLF to show at boarding.<\/p>\n

    The dPLF must be completed and submitted before boarding. However, the field concerning the seat number assigned on the means of transport can always be modified.<\/p>\n

    One form must be completed for each adult passenger; if minors are present, they may be recorded on the accompanying adult’s form. In the case of unaccompanied minors, the dPLF must be completed by the guardian before departure.<\/p>\n

    Completion of the dPLF replaces the filling of the paper declaration form referred to in article 50, paragraph 1 of the Italian\u00a0Prime Ministerial Decree of 2 March 2021. In exceptional cases, i.e. only in case of technological impediments, it will be possible to fill in the paper declaration form available here: https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/mae\/resource\/doc\/2021\/05\/modulo_rientro_sintetico_14_maggio.pdf<\/a>.<\/p>\n
