A meeting between the Italian Ambassador to Ethiopia, Arturo Luzzi, and the Ethiopian Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Dr. Workneh Gebeyehu, was held on 31 October 2017 for the presentation of the copy of the Credentials Letters of the newly appointed Italian Ambassador. During the meeting, which was held at the Ethiopian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the counterparts discussed, in addition to the regional issues, also the bilateral relations between the two Countries, including the Italian engagement in Development Cooperation, economic and trade relations, cultural cooperation, migration, fight against terrorism, Italy’s role in the IGAD Partners Forum, collaboration in peace and security and aspects concerning the Italian presence in Ethiopia.
